Job Description:
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our podiatry practice at South University Clinic in Fargo. The schedule for this role is 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, 32 hours per week. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required.
This LPN assists the RN, Physician and other providers in the provision of direct patient care in the ambulatory setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform and/or assist with identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated (examples being nail care, wound care, and fitting of durable medical equipment). Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- LPN: current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of ND. MN licensure required within 3 months of hire.
- Medical Assistant: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.
- Medical Assistant: must be registered as a Medication Assistant III through the North Dakota Board of Nursing within 3 months from date of employment.
- Both: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
